Christl Mahfouz, President
Christl Mahfouz founded Ace Specialties, L.L.C. in 2007 and serves as President of the company. She is responsible for overseeing every aspect of the business, from customer service to daily operations. Christl and her team at Ace challenge themselves to deliver exceptional results for each client with a focus on top quality products and services. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in general studies with a concentration in applied life sciences.
Christl is heavily involved in volunteer and community outreach programs. She helped to found the non-profit organization, Sky High for St. Jude, that raises funds for St. Jude Children’s Hospital – and has served as vice president of the organization. She has also played a major role in helping to raise funds for local schools and has served on the Louisiana/Mississippian Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Board of Directors .
Forrest Moodie, Vice President
Forrest F. Moodie joined the Ace team in July of 2015 and took on the role of vice president. Before joining Ace Specialties, Forrest served as manager of pipelines for Capstone Energy Services. Prior to that, he was chief operations officer for Sentinel Energy Solutions. He received a bachelor’s degree in Concrete/Constriction Management from Middle Tennessee State University in 2015.
Forrest is highly respected for being resourceful, confident and a dynamic professional with a broad range of experience in the fast-paced business environment. He is recognized as being very skilled in management, operations, and execution of large multi-disciplined projects both overseas and here at home.
Nicole Birdeau-Rabalais, Senior Marketing Manager
Nicole Birdeau-Rabalais joined Ace Specialties in 2011 as the promotional sales lead and is currently the manager of marketing and business department. She is originally from Wisconsin where she attended UW-LaCrosse before transferring to Winona State University in Minnesota where she earned a bachelor’s degree in English with an emphasis on writing. She also attended graduate programs at UL-Lafayette before becoming the mother to two young boys. While living in Winona, Minnesota, Nicole volunteered with AmeriCorps as a museum educator specializing in the local Native American history .
Tressie Ham, Business Development
Tressie Pellerin Ham uses her talents for Ace Specialties to recruit new business. Before joining Ace Specialties, Tressie worked in event management, business development and marketing at several companies.
She has managed to serve on several community & national advisory boards including, I DON'T DO UGLY #AntiBullying, Leadership Lafayette, Junior League of Lafayette, Big Brothers Big Sisters, St. John's Cathedral, Cathedral Carmel School, Future Business Leaders of America and Sky High for St. Jude. Tressie is a grandmother to four boys and in her spare time loves to cook and entertain.
Jared Bourque, Operations Manager
Jared Bourque was born and raised in Lafayette, LA. He holds an associate’s degree in business management from South Louisiana Community College and started at Ace Specialties in 2016. When he’s not working hard for the company he has come to value so highly, he’s a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. Jared also enjoys hunting, fishing and restoring old furniture and cars.
Courtney Gray, Customer Service Manager
Courtney Gray has been with Ace Specialties in various roles since 2012, she is currently the Customer Service Manager. She graduated from University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a degree in nursing. In her spare time, she volunteers at her children’s school, she is mother to a little boy and little girl and has been married for 16 years.
Marion Sylvester, Warehouse Supervisor
Marion Sylvester started out as a seamstress for Ace Specialties in 2007 and is now a supervisor of shipping, receiving, sewing, and embroidery. She lives in Breaux Bridge, LA and has been happily married for over 20 years. She has raised a son and now enjoys spending time with her granddaughter.
